Co-President
Hisham is a third year software engineering student. He is interested in computer vision and pattern recognition.

Jenny is a final year Computer Science and Physics student. She is passionate about physics and newly developed interests in graph-based and statistical natural language processing. She loves everything German.

Aanika is a final year Mathematics and Computer Science student. Aanika loves dancing, photography and interactive art.

Ketan is a third year Software Eng student with an interest in combining finance and tech to make some impactful software projects. He loves money.
Claudia Leung
VP Communications
Claudia is a final year Psychology and Political Science student with interests in neuroscience, sustainability, and front-end development. When she’s not committing neural pathways to memory, you’ll find her enjoying some BEvERages and playing with p5.js.
Rosie Zhao

Rosie is a second year Mathematics and Computer Science student with interests in computer vision and learning the theory behind machine learning. She also enjoys graphic design and group theory.
Etienne Denis

Etienne is a final year Computer Science interested in graph representation and reinforcement learning. He was raised in a French household deep in the state of Texas (Austin!). When he is not doing research spends his time reading, playing tennis and biking.

Philip is a second year Computer Science student with interests in natural language processing, and its applications with automated speech recognition. Rumors say he can talk for days.

Ali is a good looking individual who is in his final year of Electrical Engineering. He was born in Iran and will look to impress you with his lecturing during the MAIS bootcamp.
Antonios Valkanas
Academic Lecturer
Hailing from Athens, Greece, this man knows his way around a neural network. He will be lecturing his heart out during the MAIS bootcamp. He is also a first year graduate student interested in graph neural networks.
Cheng Lin
Technical Project Manager
Cheng is a third year Electrical Engineering student. She’s interested in safe and fair ML applications that make the world a better place.
Diego Lopez

Diego is a second year Math and Computer Science student. He is interested in the mathematical foundations of machine learning. On rare occasions, he can be found wearing something other than a blue shirt.
Li Zhang
Technical Project Manager
Li is a third year Software Engineering student. She’s interested in various fields of machine learning, but computer vision is one of her favourite. Her specialty is to “make things work”.

Rick is a second year Master of Electrical Engineering student. His research interests concern computer vision and deep learning, primarily focusing on video summarization using multimodal learning.

David is a final year Honors Computer Science student. His interests currently reside in model-based reinforcement learning. He’s also really really old.

Isaac is a final year electrical engineering student. He is interested in understanding the mechanics of deep reinforcement learning in the context of few-shot learning and HRL.
Nabil Chowdhury

Nabil is a final year Software Engineering student. He enjoys backend development and solving algorithms, although you may sometimes hear him say "border-radius" and "margin."
