Nathan De Lara
Co-President
Nathan is in his fourth year studying the Honours Math and Computer Science program with a specific interest in decision making under uncertainty and sports analytics. In his free time he likes to watch, play, and talk sports with friends; travel; read and stay up to date with the frontiers of machine learning research.
Veronica Xia
Co-President
Veronica is in her fourth and final year, completing a degree in Honours Math and Computer Science. She enjoys baking, reading, and going on walks.
Jennifer Tram Su
VP External
Jennifer is in her final year of Chemical Engineering with too many incomplete minors. She is currently dabbling in physics-informed neural networks and is interested in bridging the gap between CS and chemical engineering. She is also a musician at heart and loves to go on long runs.
Alexa Vasilakos
VP Communications
Alexa is a fourth year Software Engineering student interested in the intersection between art and STEM and is especially interested in how AI is currently impacting visual artists. Her hobbies include swimming competitively, bouldering at Café Bloc, drawing, and tending to her Animal Crossing island.
Jiajia Li

Jia is a second year Computer Science student who is passionate about integrating technology and AI with her artistic inclinations. Her fascination lies in exploring the potential of AI across various interdisciplinary fields. In her free time, she can be found reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

Émilie is a third year Honours Math and Computer Science student. In her free time she loves to play sports, read books, and make animals with beads.

Catherine is a third year Math and CS student who loves dancing and traveling. They discovered a new passion for cooking.

Katrina is doing her Masters in Electrical Engineering and is working on using Machine Learning to enhance simulation of electronic devices and systems. In her spare time, she likes taking care of her indoor garden and playing Mario Kart :)

Wassim is a fourth-year Software Engineering student interested in deep learning. His hobbies include working out, playing football, practicing martial arts, and watching Formula 1 races.

Murad is a second-year CS - AI student interested in generative AI, and is actively learning about reinforcement learning. He wants to pursue research and eventually launch his own startup. His hobbies include going to the gym, playing football, basketball, video games and board games, and watching movies.

Aurélien is a 3rd year Hon. Stats & CS student with a particular interest in reinforcement learning. Wishing to work in IA after getting a master's degree in the field, he also enjoys philosophy and calisthenics.

Shahrad is a 4th year CS student currently interning at Morgan Stanley and is interested in all areas of AI. You can find him playing spikeball and the piano! He is always down to explore more in AI and do fun AI related stuff!

Sami is a 3rd year CS and Math student who is becoming more and more interested in reinforcement learning. In his spare time, you can find him watching YouTube videos on World War ll.
Duru Aran

Duru is a third year student majoring in Math and Computer Science, minoring in Linguistics to really be able to understand AI. Although she only recently became an AI enthusiast, she's most interested in its financial applications, as well as learning how it's developed from the very start. Outside of the library you can find her hanging out with friends, playing the trumpet, or rewatching her comfort shows under a blanket.

Ada is a 2nd year CS and Linguistics student interested in NLP, Music + AI, and creative AI, and is a research intern at MILA. Outside of MAIS, she loves playing musical instruments, going to concerts, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

Nico is a 4th year Electrical engineer student minoring in AI and Economics. He is passionate about the multidisciplinary areas of AI involving neuroscience and its application in the music and finance industries. You can sometimes catch him playing football at campus and some fewer times studying there.

Alexandre is a second-year law student interested in time series forecasting and the legal challenges of artificial intelligence. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, chess and discover new music.

Serena is a second year Computer Science and Biology student specializing in AI. She is passionate about using computational methods to ameliorate biological and medical studies. Some of her interests include playing volleyball (a LOT), running, and playing the piano!

Meriem is currently pursuing a master's degree in management analytics, specializing in data science. She is passionate about responsible machine learning and looks towards expanding her expertise in artificial intelligence in the tech4good landscape. Beyond her quantitative acumen, she cultivates a continuous interest to diversity & inclusion in tech and loves to create digital content on social media.

Ben is a third year cognitive science student interested in higher order cognition and how it can be modeled. You can often find him practicing oboe or on a long walk lost in thought.

Signe is a fourth year Computer Science and Biology student interested in computational biology and using AI to analyze biological data sets. She spends her free time exploring, crocheting, cooking or watching everything on Netflix.
Lynn Cherif

Lynn is a fifth year Mechanical Engineering student doing a minor in Computer Science. She is currently completing her undergraduate thesis on leveraging CNNs to monitor and improve a metal 3D printing process. She is interested in AI4Good applications. In her free time, she’s a long-distance runner, cyclist and reader.
