Mira is a third-year Computer Science student passionate about exploring the limits of language models and finding creative ways to apply them in fields that haven’t traditionally used AI.

Kim is a fourth year Computer Science Student interested in the ethical aspect of AI and its intersection with Data Science. In her free time, she loves photography, cooking and playing video games.

Ella Lukasiewicz

Ella is a third-year student currently pursuing Computer Science with a concentration in AI, complemented by a minor in Neuroscience. Ella is particularly passionate about the powerful intersection of AI and medical sciences, always exploring how new technologies can elevate and transform healthcare systems. When she's not diving deep into neuro-focused AI research, you'll find her on the squash court, at the piano, or baking up some authentic French bread!

Ramatoulaye is a third-year Computer Engineering student minoring in Applied AI, interested in AI applications in medicine and the ethical implications of AI's growing role in various fields. She enjoys video games, superheroes, and anime.

Danyl is a second year Honours Mathematics and Computer Science student. He is interested in finding ways to utilize Machine Learning to solve complex algorithmic trading problems. Currently he is interning at an algorithmic hedge fund. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and stays active by hitting the gym and running.
Anto Catanzaro

Anto is a U2 student majoring in Neuroscience and Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence. She is particularly interested in machine learning as applied to brain-computer interfaces. In her free time, she enjoys fencing, traveling, and attempting (and failing) to cook.
Ian Couture
VP Finance
Ian is a second year Honours Applied Mathematics student. He is interested in exploring how machine learning can be applied to quantitative finance, particularily with regards to portfolio optimization and risk management. Outside of school, he likes to hit the gym, play chess, and as an ex-competitive kickboxer he loves to watch boxing and mixed martial arts events with his friends.

Jikael is a fourth year computer science student, interested in building safe AI and promoting AI literacy for the general public. In his free time he enjoys running, cycling, and reading.

Ritchie is a fossilizing Bioengineering student (minoring in Math + CS) who is interested in leveraging artificial intelligence to improve healthcare. He is always up for an exciting game of badminton, and is embracing the challenge of learning to swim!

Catherine is a Master’s student specializing in probability theory, with a focus on random trees and their evolution. Outside of academics, she enjoys swimming, dancing, and enjoying a good book with her cat.
Duru Aran

Duru is a third year student majoring in Math and Computer Science, minoring in Linguistics to really be able to understand AI. Although she only recently became an AI enthusiast, she's most interested in its financial applications, as well as learning how it's developed from the very start. Outside of the library you can find her hanging out with friends, playing the trumpet, or rewatching her comfort shows under a blanket.
Ada Tur
Senior Advisor
Ada is a final year CS and Linguistics student and a researcher at Mila/McGillNLP. Her current research focuses are NLP, language grounding, digital agents, computational linguistics, and AI safety. Outside of academics/research, Ada enjoys going to concerts and shows, TTRPGs, playing guitar, hosting the occasional radio show at CKUT 90.3 FM, and spending time with her gorgeous, accomplished son (cat), Vegas.
Shahrad Mohammadzadeh
Senior Advisor
Shahrad is a Master's student in AI/ML at Mila/McGill. His work revolves around analyzing LLM behaviour and efficiency, Graph Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning. You can find him play the piano and Spikeball (ofc not at the same time, tho he would love to). He is always happy to connect :)
